The
Spanish Herald Inc. is pleased to announce that the building of the
Natural Clinic in the community of "El Naranjo", Jutiapa, Atlántida, was
finished at the beginning of April 2002.
The completion of the clinic was
accomplished by a group of students from Oklahoma Academy, under the
direction of a group of volunteers specialized in various fields. Among
them: Henry & Kathy Smith, Larry & Beverly Helmstetler, Bob Henricksen,
and Jeremy Davis. The inauguration and dedication of the clinic was the
5th of May, under the direction of Pr. Adán Ramos. The next
day, the clinic began its operations under the direction of sister
Sandra Maldonado, a Medical-Missionary from Guatemala who attended the
clinic for approximately 1 month. During that time, more than 500 people
from "El Naranjo" and surrounding villages benefited from the
medical attention they received and advice concerning the principles of
healthy living that were imparted. Sorrowfully, from the beginning
of June,
the clinic has been closed because there is no doctor available to offer
medical attention to the patients. We are in need of
Medical-Missionaries, preferably couples, that can offer permanent
attention, and medical brigades for temporal attention.
We thank our God because He has
provided the economical resources and labor that were needed to complete
the building of the clinic. Now, we plead for your prayers for Him to
provide suitable people for the operation of the same.
If you are a volunteer Naturist
Doctor or a Medical-Missionary who feels the Lord is calling you to work
in this field, please, contact us.
